Dr Jarrod Newell (MBCHB)

Dr. Jarrod Newell is a highly qualified and experienced phlebologist and director of the Vein and Skin practice in New Plymouth, New Zealand. A clinic he runs with his wife Dr. Tamsyn Newell. He graduated from the University of Auckland in 2013 and has since obtained a Diploma of Phlebology and two certificates in venous ultrasound. He is also Southercross affiliated to treat Varicose Veins using laser, radiofrequency, cyanoacrylate (glue) and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy.

Dr. Newell is passionate about helping patients with venous and skin conditions. He is known for his expertise in treating varicose veins and skin cancer, and his commitment to providing the best possible care to his patients. He is also a valuable asset to the medical community in New Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

In addition to his work at the Vein and Skin practice, Dr. Newell also has a close working relationship with Dr. Poczwa in his Wellington clinic and with Mr. Murray Cox, Taranaki’s only Vascular Surgeon. This collaboration allows him to provide his patients with the most comprehensive and up-to-date care possible, even for complex cases.

Outside of work, Dr. Newell enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his hobbies of mountain biking and dirt bike riding.
