DR HENRYK POCZWA

Dr. Henryk Poczwa (MBCHB) graduated from Otago Medical School in New Zealand in 1977. After working as a general practitioner and obstetrician for many years, he pursued his passion for venous and cosmetic medicine in the early 1990s.

Dr. Poczwa is passionate about aesthetic beauty, which led him to study Tumescent Liposculpture under Dr. Jeffery Klein in California, USA. Liposculpture is a safe, walk-in, walk-out procedure that removes fat under local anesthesia, unlike traditional liposuction, which requires general anesthesia.

Dr. Poczwa is one of the few physicians in New Zealand who performs mini thread-lifts of the face and neck to lift sagging skin.

Dr. Poczwa was the first physician in New Zealand to perform EVLA (Endovenous Laser Ablation) treatment for large varicose veins in 2002. He has successfully treated over 1,000 cases, including some of the largest varicose veins seen in the Western Hemisphere.

Dr. Poczwa has earned fellowships in the following areas through intensive training courses, workshops, conferences, and examinations over the years:
